Minitüb awards its fifths Research Prize for Equine Reproductive Medicine for 1,000 Euro.
The Minitube International Center for Biotechnology has achieved a spectacular scientific breakthrough resulting in a novel DNA based sexing technology. The revolutionary new technique no longer requires the removal of blastomeres from embryos or the time-consuming processing of biopsies. This development is the result of further research on Minitube’s exclusive DNA probe used in the original SEX-Y™ Kit. The SEX-Y™ kit is already known for its simple and effective sexing procedure and has now evolved into a NexGen DNA technology which allows the incubation of the whole embryo for quick and easy field-based embryo sexing.
Minitube works to advance animal reproduction technologies through research and development, manufacturing and distribution of products and services for:
artificial insemination (AI)
embryo transfer (ET)
in vitro fertilization (IVF)
and other assisted reproduction technologies
